I got away with it. Whew! The spot is overgrown with grass and wildflowers… all infused with HIS essence. He is a soggy pile of bones by now. I can finally breathe easy and start spending his money without worry. The detective called yesterday and said they have run out of leads and the case is going into the cold-case files. Hopefully it’ll die of frost bite in there.
I enjoyed killing him. I only wish I could kill him again. It’s hard to pick my favourite part of killing him but if my arm was twisted I think it would have to be the way the noise and racket changed over time. He started out cursing and yelling. Then he whimpered and begged. Eventually he sort of gurgled and then went quiet. Peace at last in the Miller household.

Pearl Grey fled America in 2008 and followed a little star in the sky until she reached London which seemed like a decent place to stay for a while.
She can be found toiling in the City and pottering around Walthamstow.
