Enchanted Sea
Once upon a time there was an Enchanted Sea where you could sit directly on the surface of the water and have Enchanted Tea served by dapper looking Sea Creatures. One day the powerful and much feared Mermaid Queen, who ruled over all the Sea Creatures, was swimming by and noticed the meaty toes of the Enchanted Tea customers dangling overhead. She was feeling peckish so she snapped off some toes and nibbled away. She enjoyed the toes very much and regularly helped herself to more.
Over time business dried up as people emerged from the Enchanted Sea with bellies full of tea and scones and bloody stumps where their toes used to be. The lack of meaty toe snacks made the Mermaid Queen very angry and when she got angry she roared and flip-flapped around the Sea creating deadly waves wherever she went. The Sea Creatures tried hiding under rocks and burrowing down inside the muck but the Queen’s angry waves reached every part of the Enchanted Sea turning everything inside it upside down.
The Sea Creatures agreed to devise a plan to save the Enchanted Sea and the Enchanted Tea business. They tried making replica human toes out of kelp and muck but the Mermaid Queen realised the deception and went into such a rage that the Sea nearly boiled over. The Sea Creatures were very sad and scared.
Just when the Sea Creatures were losing all hope, one brave little Star Fish gathered up some seaweed and while the Mermaid Queen slept he quietly tied her wrists together using the seaweed like a rope. He wrapped seaweed around her head covering her mouth and nose. He also tied seaweed tightly around her neck. She writhed and moaned but with her hands bound and a face full of seaweed there was nothing she could do. The brave little Star Fish pulled the seaweed tighter and tighter around her neck until she stopped moving for good.
The brave little Star Fish went on to rule the Enchanted Sea and under his rule the Enchanted Tea business eventually picked back up and all the Sea Creatures lived happily ever after.
