Mend and Make-Do
“I don’t know!” I had shouted at him, “Just find an island on the river where I can take her for some tea!”
He really was close to useless sometimes, but it wasn’t as if you could hire a proper butler anymore, not since the robots.
“Mend and make-do,” is what my mother had always said.
