“Hey, awesome uniform- from the original, right? The second movie?”
“That’s right- I made the holster myself.”
“Nice! Where did you get the jacket?”
“On Ebay.”
“Lucky!”
“So are you running a stall?”
“No, I’m trying to trace my father.”
“Um…are you sure you have the right hall? The Family History convention is right next door. They’re really helpful in there- at least, so I hear.”
“Yes, I know, I went last year. They were great. They gave me some places to look. Now I have a name and address.”
“Wow, that’s good work.”
“Do you know who this person is?”
He shows me a piece of paper.
“Wow. I haven’t heard that name in a long time.”
“But do you know him?”
“Of course I know him,” I answer, “he’s me.”

Wow, an entire family drama in a few short lines! But so smart, because it plays off the “Luke, I am your father” riff. Made me laugh, and admire the cleverness, at once. Nice!
