The True Meaning Of Irony
We’re very lucky, here in the UK, to have a government that understands the plight of the little man and/or woman. I mean the man/woman/person on the street, obviously. Though I think our government is particularly sensitive to the day to day travails of being unusually short, too.
Every time I make a comment about having killed a person, I am deadly serious.
Alanis Morissette’s service to the English language with her song “Ironic” is beyond compare.
I genuinely don’t understand what all the minorities, like the foreigners and the poor and the women, are so upset about.
One of my closest friends is sexually aroused by geese.
Thank goodness the poor, vulnerable and disaffected have Johann Hari to speak for them, when they clearly don’t have the wit to stand up for themselves in this cruel, cruel world.
You know who don’t get enough credit? The banks.
The only reason I go to comic conventions is as a cover for meeting prostitutes.
If it wasn’t for Banksy, art would still be an exclusive, ring-fenced pastime, only consumed and understood by an over-educated liberal elite. Banksy brought – ahahaha, no, wait, this is clever – Banksy truly brought art to the streets! In more ways than one! Before him, nobody had thought of doing subversive art, in a public setting.
No great genre creation ever flourished by ignoring the whims of fandom.
The ten-item list is so overdone. Anyone who claims that irregularly-lengthed list-articles are the result of a lack of inspiration or of discipline is an idiot.
