A beautiful story, really elegant. Written with just the right amount of emotion, revealing just the right amount of information to the reader.

I admire very much how you do away with the usual quotation marks and story structure but you replace these with your own (borrowed from the chat room), that we all recognize. This is perfect for the tone and pace of the piece.

But besides the technical skill you show, you also ably touch on the psychological underpinnings of love, pain, and rejection.
