As to your poem, it stands on its own! I read it first before I looked at the video, and the poem evokes feelings of teen-age alienation, especially if the teen is very bright and different and talented. It&#039;s been said that sometimes the &quot;problem children&quot; in public school are actually the genius children, the brilliant and most creative ones, who are way ahead of their peers and teachers, and feel totally out of place, unwanted or bored in school. 

Well, that&#039;s what your verses made me think of anyway.
