Thanks Rivka!

First, I wish I was young - I turned 39 this year. The feeling the guy in this story has, of being surprised by the person in the mirror, is one I've felt a bazillion times. Aging sucks!

He is a living museum exhibit, is what I was thinking, who can't quite believe what he has become. I thought of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. It is actually a museum and I've been told it's an incredible experience.

"Museum" aside, this is a good look at the aging process. You are so young ... >>sigh<< ... but you speak truth! It does feel like you're looking at another person in the mirror, sometimes. How much more so for someone who was famous for his appearance and his persona, someone famous for being "young."

I like this story, because there is a sense of "playing a role" at the end there, "...just like a real person." Very subtle, but it added just the right perspective. I definitely would want to read more about the protagonist. This might make a great screenplay.

Oh, and I loved the details about the band, and the way their songs are now used in commercials.
