Lovely and evocative piece – echoing what everyone else said, it’s eerie and suggests more than it defines, and I like that a lot.

I’ve been a terrible site curator, and have failed to keep up with what everyone is doing these last couple of weeks, but this was a really good story, and a solid start to your time at the site!

I liked this a lot too. It’s like a little twighlight zone episode. And like Matthew, I like the ambiguity, are they good spirits or evil? Who knows? I like stuff that doesn’t spell it out.

Welcome Suzi! I’m a sucker for the supernatural, and I really enjoyed your inaugural piece and image! The best parts are the little pieces of backstory hinted at, flames and chasing?

I can accept stone dogs that want their own back, but now I want to know how they got that way, and if they were the chasers or the chased.
