In The Pond

Love pond. Head out. Want food.

Things come. Big things. Hide head.

Things swim. Splash loud. Stay shell.

One Big. Big claws.

One Soft. Long hair.

Peek out. Leave food?

Big grab. Soft scream.

Go under. Soft under.

Soft scream. Bubbles float.

Hide head.

Noise stop.

Open shell. Swim up.

Big gone.

Soft still.

No food.

    I love how the simple desire for food is repeated in this, despite the other goings on. Very animalistic.

    Thanks, Andrew. As I was holding the turtle, we fed him lettuce. I couldn’t help but think he was taking being carried around by GIANTS in really good stride, as long as there was catering.
