Because I Saw The Sunset and It Did Not See Me

The photographer, pleased with his shot.
The sun, dimming as it creeped again toward the horizon.
The water echoed a chorus of lapping goodbyes.
Grass crunched beneath boots.
Loose pebbles gave way.
Far away, mountains kept their vigil.
Cold winds swept over Galway.
The two strangers went home alone, leaving behind footprints and false context.

Poetry! It doesn’t happen often, but it’s nice to see it when it does!
Very nice interpretation of the image, sir. Cool title, too. Though actually, I might even think that the title is a tiny bit cooler than the piece itself… It kinds of sums up a lot, all by itself.

Yeah, I need to start thinking up the titles before I write the piece and basing them off of the snazziest ones I can think of. I feel like Matthew in Earth-2 wrote an awesome piece that goes with this title, but titled it, “There’s Nothing There For You In Galway”.
