strip like a beach as a mobius

beach made me angry, and when I asked my mother why, she answered me softly, like she perhaps always should have but never did, explaining for the final time, or so she said, that I was related to the actor Rufus Sewell, star of films such as ‘The Mermaid Chronicles Part 1’, but whom I had never met, which baffled me as I could not fathom why she thought this should catalyse my rage, and when I asked her again, she tutted and drew an abstract symbol in the sand, which made no sense to me, perhaps because it was night, but maybe because I had forgotten to bring my glasses, which were my favourite glasses, not for reasons of style, but because they were large enough that I did not have to tilt my head to see things not directly in front of me, and of course, since I refer to them in the past tense, I no longer have them, so I spat on her diagram, and she kicked me in the shins, and I realised that my mother had left some minutes ago and I was now talking to the mute on the beach who draws diagrams for money, while wearing steel toe cap boots, and my shins burned and the

  3. Hey there Dan,

    This is really well done! Great idea! And the Rufus Sewell reference instantly made me think of the film Dark City, and the Shell Beach that he keeps trying to reach…I’m not sure I can directly relate the events of the film to a mobius strip, but it’s close enough to make me enjoy this piece even more.
