Also, loved the story in 2000AD. Though honestly? I think you’ve done better over here! But then, I’m biased.

(Actually not entirely true – I think your writing was great, I just think that after about four hundred years of reading Future Shocks, I’m immune to the format, now. Sadface.)

Heh. Insightful and topical. Plus, y’know, funny.

It’s a tiny thing, but the shift from character name from Dob to Dobs midway through distracted me – my brainstupids parsed it as being two different people, in some kind of high-concept flourish, though I suspect it’s just a typo!
